digest-app

A private, single-user digest application.

digest-app is a personal automation tool. It runs on its owner's own machine, reads that same person's own Google account data, and assembles it into scheduled digests — a daily summary of the day's calendar events and flagged emails, and weekly and monthly outlooks.

What it does

• Lists the messages the account owner has starred in Gmail, so each one can be turned into a task and followed up.
• Mirrors the account's calendar events into a local database, and can set an event's colour to reflect what kind of event it is.
• Renders the result as scheduled notifications to its owner.

Who can use it

Nobody but its owner. It is not a product, it is not offered as a service, there is no sign-up, and it has no users other than the two Google accounts belonging to the person who runs it.
